BGP Traffic Engineering
BGP Traffic Engineering enables network operators to control and optimize the flow of data across their networks by adjusting routing paths. It helps improve performance, balance traffic loads, enhance reliability, and reduce operational costs. By implementing effective BGP traffic engineering, networks can achieve seamless and efficient data routing.
Network engineers.
Participants should have a basic understanding of BGP fundamentals, such as neighbor relationships and attributes. Familiarity with routing protocols like OSPF or EIGRP and experience in configuring BGP in simple setups is recommended. Knowledge of route filtering and basic policies (prefix lists, route maps) will also be helpful for this session.
