BGP Security
BGP Security safeguards internet routing by preventing attacks and misconfigurations. Key measures include RPKI for route validation, BGP monitoring, and best practices like prefix filtering to protect against route hijacking and leaks.
Network engineers.
Participants should have a basic understanding of BGP fundamentals, such as neighbor relationships and attributes. Familiarity with routing protocols like OSPF or EIGRP and experience in configuring BGP in simple setups is recommended. Knowledge of route filtering and basic policies (prefix lists, route maps) will also be helpful for this session.
