Internet Exchanges (IXs) such as DE-CIX are a vital part of the Internet infrastructure. The platforms we provide allow networks to easily interconnect, creating rich ecosystems of networks.
The Internet was conceived as a “best effort” tool for communication, and it naturally comes with risks – threats that can massively influence the quality of data traffic, prevent networks from sending traffic at all, or cause the traffic to be routed to the wrong destination.
